Dear colleagues, dear all,
on Sept. 7th, the Societas Celtologica Europaea (SCE) was founded at a
Celtic congress in Zürich. It is the aim of SCE to support and stimulate
Celtic studies in Europe in diverse ways. The membership fee per annum is
EUR 30,- and includes a subscription to the Zeitschrift für celtische
Philologie (the modalities of payment still need to be worked out, but the
application forms can be sent in already). Like CSANA in North America,
membership in SCE is not restricted to scholars from the eponymous
continent, but every interested person is invited to join the society.
